This guide outlines the setup and operational flow for using EFTPOS function buttons on SmartPOS terminals to initiate member card swipes via Adyen terminals. The workflow enables automatic lookup and association of member accounts to a transaction based on card data.
⚙️ Prerequisites
Before using this feature, ensure the following configuration steps are completed:
1. Minimum Bepoz version v4.8.1.0
2. SmartPOS Mobile Button Configuration

Navigate to Till Function Maps

Assign a button with:

2. Adyen Terminal Setup

Submit a request to Adyen Support to:

Enable Custom Card Support with full data response

🔄 Operational Flow

| 1️⃣ | Operator presses the configured ‘EFTPOS’ button |
| 2️⃣ | A member swipe request is sent to the Adyen terminal |
| 3️⃣ | Adyen prompts the customer to swipe their card |
| 4️⃣ | If swipe is valid, Adyen sends card number to POS |
| 5️⃣ | SmartPOS attempts to match card number to a member account |
| 6️⃣ | If found: Member is attached to transaction |
| 7️⃣ | If not found: Display "No member account found" message |
