Bepoz UK: How to Diagnose a faulty Kitchen Printer
1. Find out Kitchen Printer Make and Model.
2. Get them to do a self-test to see if its printing fine.
3. Get them to confirm it had correct Impact paper roll + Ink to print.
4. When print orders is it redirecting to any other Printer with Error message on Till screen. (Ask them to do a test and read the Error message out to you)
5. Get them to double check CAT 5 cable connected to Back of the Printer + Back of the Till in to Grey adapter.
6. Restart the Till controlling Kitchen printer and try placing food order.
7. Get the BEPOZ Diagnostic running on the server and send TEST Print to Kitchen printer.
8. Get Kitchen printer physically next to the Till its running from and get that connected to Grey adapter via small cat 5 cable. Restart the smart Print on the Till and see if its printing.
9. If Kitchen printer printing self-test fine + working next to the Till which means issue is CAT 5 cable running from KP to the Till controlling KP.
NOTE – If Kitchen printer printing random symbols and characters it due to Baud rate set on the Back office under Kitchen printer.
