📄Setup And Use Custom Fields

Custom Fields can be found within various sections of BackOffice and can be used for filtering and profiling.

Purpose

  • Custom Info Tabs and Custom Fields can be found throughout BackOffice
  • Custom Fields can be edited for a variety of purposes and uses
  • Custom Fields can be found within Product Maintenance, Operator Maintenance, Account Maintenance, Supplier Maintenance, Product Promotions, Prize Promotions, and Vouchers
  • Product Profiles utilises the information from Products' Custom Fields to qualify which Products will be a part of the Profile
  • Custom Fields can also be used for reporting purposes

Note: Most [not all] of the Custom Info fields can be found in Global Settings

To Add or Edit a Custom Fields

Click the Edit Custom Fields button in each relevant section.
 
 
Each of the Custom Info configurations contain the same 4 fields 
 
 Flag Field - Add any characters to create a flag in the relevant section
 Number Field - Add any numbers to create a Number in the relevant section
 Date Field - Add a date using the Date Selector 
 Text Field - Add any characters to create drop down options in a text field 
 

 

To Use Custom Info Fields

In the relevant section, e.g Accounts, edit an Account and assign the relevant field.
 
 
With Accounts and Products, these fields can be used in Profiles
With other sections they can be used to Filter.
