16 | Editing KeyLists

Following from the  Creating KeyLists  Article, Keylists can be further configured upon creation.

 

Prerequisites 

 

  • To access KeyMap features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
    • Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
      • Products: "Maintain Keymap Settings" Flag 
Editing a KeyList 
  • To edit the existing KeyLists, Log into BackOffice and follow the given steps
    1. From the Maintenance menu, Select Product KeyMaps
    2. Click on the View/Edit KeyLists button from the Header which will open the KeyList Names window
    3. Highlight the KeyList to be edited from the available KeyLists
    4. Click on the Edit KeyList Items button as shown below

  • This will now open the KeyList Items List window where Operators can Add, Edit and/or Remove the Products

Additional Features

Description
Edit Mode
  • The Edit Mode in the KeylIst Items List allows operators to Edit the Products in the Keylist as it will appear on the SmartPOS Workstation
  • Once the button is Clicked, Operators are able to
    1. Alter the Size of the Product in the KeyList
    2. Change the Back Colour and ForeColour of the Keys within the KeyList as they will be displayed at the SmartPOS Workstation
Remove Product
  • The Remove Product button will remove the Selected product from the KeyList
Move Item Up/Down
  • These buttons can be used to Change the Sequence of the Products (the order of Items here will be mimicked on the SmartPOS Workstation)
Edit KeyList Name
  • This button will allow operators to Change the Name of the KeyList
Sort Alphabetically
  • This button will arrange the Products in the List in an Alphabetical order
