How To: Perform a Self Test
A self test, checks the printer settings and prints out a document to help you correctly setup the device.

Turn the printer off using the I | O switch. Wait for the printer to completely shut down.

Hold your finger on the feed key, whilst holding, turn the printer back on. Keep holding the feed key.

The printer will then print out the settings. Keep this paper, it contains the BAUD rate and other essential information.

When the first print out is finished, press the feed button again to finish the self test the printer will do a character print.
How To: Find the IP Address
The printer must be plugged in and have a paper roll inserted to gather this information.

Turn the printer on using the I | O switch.

On the back of the printer, find the small Reset button.

Using a paper clip, a pen, or a similar narrow object, press Reset and hold it down.

Wait for the device to start printing, then release Reset.

The status sheet will show the IP Address.
How To: Perform a factory reset
This will reset the printer back to it’s default IP Address and reset the username and password to the default.
How To: Change the IP Address
Changing the IP address is an exact science so be careful. Remember no two devices on the same network should have the same IP Address.
You need to be on the same network as the device in order to change the IP Address.
