How to correctly set up a ScreenConnect Session

Log into Server

Expand the SmartController to see all the till numbers and names

"Build" a new session in ScreenConnect (There are 8 Properties - only fill the first 5 properties, don't worry about the last 3 properties)

IMPORTANT - use the naming conventions outlined below

Copy the URL

Go back to the venue server and check the IP Address of the till you want to connect

Access the till via VNC using the till IP address and password "Vec****"

Open Chrome or Edge and paste in the URL. Hit Enter

The ScreenConnect installer will download. Run the installer (it's very quick and there's nothing to close at the end)

Close Chrome and check in ScreenConnect that the till is now online. 

Keep a note of any tills that you cannot access. Some tills may not be turned on yet and we can check later. Tablets may need to be done during trade.

Group (Matthews Hotels, or preferred name)

State (AU - SA)

Business Unit (Bepoz AU)

Device Type (See Below)

Device Brand / Model - don't fill out. It will auto-populate

POS Version - don't fill out. It will auto-populate

SystemID - don't fill out. It will auto-populate
