- The Metcash Scan Data 2.5 interface is designed to send transactional data from Bepoz to Metcash
- The interface is reliant on Metcash Host as data provided to Metcash through Scan Data requires information that can only be obtained through host
Prerequisites
- For an Operator to be able to setup the Metcash Scan 2.5 Interface, the following Operator privileges must be enabled:

Venue Maintenance "Main" Tab (General Settings) - All “System Setup” Flags

Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab - System Setup: “Maintain Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
- System Setup: “Access Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
Key Features
BackOffice Setup
- A new Transaction Queue device is required which facilitates the sending of the Sales Transaction Data to Metcash
- The device reads the transactions from the date & time after it is configured
- Apart from sending the individual sales information, the transaction queue also sends Sales summary totals to Metcash
- The 'Set ShiftID' button within the device, allows to enter a ShiftID or a date
- This date will be used to process transactions from this date
