This article explains Type Group View for the Till Summaries Report.

Prerequisites

  • To access Till Summary features, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
    • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
      • Sales Reports: "Allow Cash Reports" Flag

View Explained

  • _Type Group displays the amount generated from Products relating to their different Type Groups

  • The first column Name displays the name of the Workstation or Tills in the selected Store(s)
  • Rest of the Columns shows different Type Groups and amount generated from them
  • Products can be grouped into Eight (8) different Type Group in the BackOffice starting from Type Group 0 to Type Group 8
  • To set up a Product Type; Go to Venue Maintenance > Edit Global settings

  • The Type Groups can now be assigned to the thirty product types which are created in the Product Types section
