This article covers the steps required to upgrade from SmartKDS 4.6 to the latest SmartKDS 4.7

Key Differences

SmartKDS 4.7 is now a standalone product and is no longer contained in the Bepoz program directory
SmartKDS 4.7 is available from the Bepoz UPD Program (C:\Bepoz\Programs\BepozUPD.exe)
Scheduled jobs are no longer required to send and receive information between Bepoz and KDS
KDS Devices are no longer required to be setup in Backoffice

Prerequisites

Bepoz version must be upgraded to at least Bepoz 4.7.2.7
Existing Scheduled Jobs for Send & Bump to KDS will be removed automatically with the upgrade to Bepoz v4.7.2.7
Existing KDS Devices in Venue, Stores & Tills will be removed automatically with the upgrade to Bepoz v4.7.2.7
KDS 4.7 should be downloaded using the Bepoz UPD program within the Bepoz Program directory and choosing the relevant option
The user should then follow the setup procedures listed here to install and configure SmartKDS 4.7
