Overview
  • This release of EROS contains a magnitude of fixes to issues that have been reported both internally and externally
  • Please ensure that correct upgrade procedures are followed. Make a backup of the system being upgraded to ensure you have a rollback option in the case of issues
Ancillary Core, SmartController, System Setup, Operational Setup and Other

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

 

  • EROS-10781
      • Tooltip has been added to the "Bistro" flag in Venue Maintenance --> Table Groups Tab

 

  • EROS-11533 | BEPOZ-6339
    • Prize Promo & Till current setup job messages are sent to SmartPOS and displayed to the Operator

Barcodes & Barcodes Scanning

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11433 | BEPOZ-6031

    • When a type 2 barcode(s) (Inhouse) is scanned, the correct food stamp value is now calculated and added to the SmartPOS Transaction 

CALink - Gaming

EBET

  • EROS-11252 | BEPOZ-5902,6098
    • Refund or negative sale transactions for non-CALink members now correctly reverse the previously earned points from the account

MaxGaming

  • EROS-11475
    • When using 'Sale Use Points' function for a Max Gaming account, the points earn and redeem work as expected for Bistro and Table transactions

Interfaces - EFTPOS

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

Adyen

  • EROS-11530

    • When the 'Debug' flag is enabled on an 'Adyen' EFTPOS device within BackOffice, it now saves the log files generated in separate folders distinctly named with terminal's PO ID's

  • EROS-11574

    • In the event of a connection dropout(s) between Bepoz and the Adyen EFTPOS terminal, Bepoz will now attempt to auto-reinitialize the connection. If the connection continues to fail, then the Operator is presented with the option to try to reinitialize or to accept a different payment method

Tyro

  • EROS-11553
    • Tyro Pay@Table now locks and unlocks the current table correctly. The Tyro pinpad will also display a message to the operator when the table is currently in use on another POS
  • EROS-11575
    • When a service charge is included on a Tyro Pay @ Table transaction, it is now correctly sent to the Tyro terminal
  • EROS-11694
    • Clearing a partial payment from a retail sale no longer leaves the payment on the display screen
    • Paying off the balance of a transaction with a cleared payment no longer results in SQL errors in Smartcontroller
Interfaces - Other

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

Oolio Order Manager 

  • New interface has been implemented to provide Venues ability to received and process orders from Oolio Order Manager and also sync the menu to the platform

Doshii

  • A new interface, Doshii Loyalty integration has been implemented. This when configured in BackOffice helps to connect with Doshii and support their gift card platform.
  • Users can enquire the balance on a card, activate a new card or redeem a gift card

  • EROS-11428

    • Resolved an issue where pickup orders were being cancelled when the 'Pickup' function was being utilised in SmartPOS. Pickup orders are now saved instead of being cancelled.

  • EROS-11544

    • The SmartPOS order types are mapped correctly to Doshii order types

  • EROS-11567 | BEPOZ-6450

    • The Doshii Data Link job no longer crashes when products with the base product setup as a condiment are synced with Doshii

  • EROS-11572

    • Bepoz now sends the 'API Till' details to Doshii for reporting purposes

  • EROS-11640
    • There is no longer a transaction validation error when the transaction includes a 'text condiment(s)'
  • EROS-11710
    • If a KDS interface has been configured, the Doshii interface has now been upgraded to support sending orders received from Doshii to KDS interfaces directly

KDS

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

Bematech

  • EROS-11132 | BEPOZ-5963, 5823
    • When using 'Hold & Fire' functionality, items successfully display on KDS
    • Held items are successfully firing when the previous course items have been bumped on KDS
    • When using the 'Sale Use Points' function, there is no longer issues where products were displaying part values
  • EROS-11452 | BEPOZ-6160
    • The issue with items doubling on Prep and Expo screen has been fixed. Line ID's are now consistent with what they are in the database, rather than them being reordered sequentially by the consolidation function
  • EROS-11497
    • The BepozUPD now displays the currently installed SmartKDS version on the local machine
    • The newly downloaded version also displays, so that the user knows which version they are upgrading to
  • EROS-11573
    • A warning printout is received on Bematech KDS when time out occurs on XML-API 

QSR

  • EROS-11664
    • Refund Item not sending through the reversal to QSR and the issue with Table Limits not working correctly have been resolved

Labels & Label Printing

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11500 | BEPOZ-6305
    • The object reference error encountered with printing labels when using Price Changes on multi-venue setup has been resolved
  • EROS-11457 | BEPOZ-6033
    • Product labels correctly display and prints the Product Price level selected

POS Printing / Remote Printing

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11120 | BEPOZ-5960
    • The issue where a blank docket is printed to the remote printer when an item is cleared or returned in the transaction has been resolved

Products / Product Maintenance

  • EROS-11558
    • New printer format options to append ‘export code 1' value to the product names when its printed
  • EROS-11286 | BEPOZ-4455
    • With Store redirection configured, products including condiment product must be available in both stores to be sold on SmartPOS

Points & Points Profile

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11541 | BEPOZ-6378

    • A new venue flag has been added to control whether or not the points earned/redeemed by the current transaction are displayed with the points balance

Reporting | Reports

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11681

    • Negation items are being suppressed when double-clicking on transactions in the transaction journal 

  • EROS-11703

    • The transaction view now shows saved table items that have had a price change, but no quantity change

Reservations & PMS

NowBookIt Interface

  • EROS-11446 | BEPOZ-6258
    • Table Sales Only flag is now supported across 7Rooms and NBI interfaces
  • EROS-11540

    • Tooltip has been updated to display the correct interface name

SevenRooms Interface

  • EROS-11436

    • When creating a walkin from SmartPOS, Bepoz now filters the table list to show only the available tables at that point in time

  • EROS-11002

    • SevenRooms Transaction Queue device settings has been updated to support AccountID's upto 10000. The fields which are not required on the Transaction Queue device have been removed

Service Charge & Tips

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11525
    • Service charge no longer mis-calculates on tables when a voucher discount is applied after applying an order discount
  • EROS-11674
    • We have resolved the issue where a Service Charge Auto Percent would cause the table balance to mis-calculate
  • EROS-11680
    • The service charge now gets applied to any table when the covers changes above or below the Service Charge Minimum Guests setting

SmartPOS

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-11551
    • The object reference error encountered when there is no CALink interface enabled has been resolved
  • EROS-11449 | BEPOZ-6280
    • Condiment replacement prints to remote printers and when removing a base product, the condiment is removed to prevent orphaned condiments 
  • EROS-11450 | BEPOZ-6274
    • When updating a seat number, the updated seat number appears on the remote docket
  • EROS-11547 | BEPOZ-6388
    • When attaching an account to a table with unsaved products, the warning that the products will be sent to the kitchen if attached is being shown again
  • EROS-11648 | BEPOZ-6155
    • Discount is applied to items in the sale which meet the discount criteria
  • EROS-11695
    • The issues below relate to Hold and Fire and have now been rectified:
      • Held recalled items can no longer be transitioned to 'released state'
      • Firing condiments is no longer possible in the Hold & Fire window
      • Issue with not being able to fire products underneath a package product [Selection/Fixed]
      • Prevented users from modifying held recalled items when there is a negate & replace - e.g; Item Discounts have all been fixed

Supplier Comms

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

Metcash

  • EROS-11379
    • Costs for all products imported from Metcash Invoice is added to the line TotalEx irrespective if the product(s) match a local Bepoz Product

Table Splits

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  • EROS-10980
    • Updated table split transfers to use negations
  • EROS-11335
    • Selling a product with two of the same condiment, incrementing it, and then transferring 1 to a split now transfers the correct quantity of the condiment
  • EROS-11545
    • The global flag for opening directly into splits has been removed and opening to splits is now the default behaviour
  • EROS-11675
    • Fixed a split table workflow that left a negative balance on the split after transferring the split to another table
