The Bepoz Product Team is thrilled to introduce our latest software release: Fortuna 4.8.
Reflecting the scope and significance of the changes in this update, we’ve updated the version name to Fortuna—named after the Roman goddess of luck, chance, and fate—to mark a new chapter in our platform’s evolution.
Version 4.8 delivers major enhancements to table transaction handling, offering operators far greater flexibility when managing the same table across multiple tills. We've also made substantial improvements to the reliability and functionality of our stock module, addressing over 20 individual work items in this area alone.
This release introduces a range of new features across the product, including the highly requested Table Item Transfer, as well as two new integrations with leading platforms: Klaviyo and Light & Wonder.
Given the scale of changes, Fortuna 4.8 will initially launch as part of a controlled pilot program. General release will follow upon successful completion of this phase, allowing us to monitor performance in live environments and address any issues proactively.

Account Discount Removal
Overview
Account Discount Removal is a SmartPOS function that allows the user to remove account discounts from a transaction, whether a retail transaction or a saved table transaction. Upon removal, products are repriced according to the configured price level for the till, and the balance owed is recalculated. There is also the option to reverse the removal of the account discounts.

Aged Debtors & Packing Slips
Overview
We are excited to introduce a significant enhancement to our account management system. Previously, we lacked the capability to track payments against specific account charges and monitor the age of these charges. Our new update addresses these limitations by implementing advanced logic within our account payments mechanism.
This upgrade provides users with comprehensive information to effectively monitor the health of their debts, utilizing industry-standard aging brackets: current, 30, 60, and 90+ days. Additionally, we have optimized workflows in both Backoffice and SmartPOS, enabling users to select specific charge(s) and assign payments to them with ease.

Transferring Items from a table
Overview
This might very well be the most requested feature in the history of Bepoz! Users will now have the ability to transfer individual products from one table to another without the necessity of a split table! While this is a fairly rudimentary function, we believe this will be a very welcomed enhancement to the majority of our hospitality focused customers.

Multi Use Tables
Overview
Significant work has gone into developing a new table locking system that provides sophisticated access controls to replace the previous single-use functionality. At its core, the system operates with three primary modes:

Exclusive Master Lock

Order Entry Lock
This triple-mode approach ensures data integrity by preventing simultaneous modifications while still allowing tables to be accessed from multiple locations. The system maintains strict controls by permitting only one Master instance per table while allowing multiple simultaneous Order Entry Mode instances, effectively balancing accessibility with data protection.
Master lock, which provides full table access and modification capabilities, and Order Entry Mode, which limits users to adding new items only.

Cash Discounting
Overview
Cash Discounting is a feature designed for businesses that prioritize cash flow over card payments. We have introduced a new pricing calculation that can be customized at the store level. This feature offers dual balances on SmartPOS, clearly indicating the available discounts for cash payments. Discounts can be configured by various categories or types and will be reported under the designated discount totalizer, similar to standard discounts. It's important to note that this functionality is exclusive to Oolio Pay customers and will be managed through an authorization flag in CMP, overseen by the accounts team.

Accounts Flow has been incorporated into the Supplier Comms setup
Overview
Another small, but hopefully useful update for the implementation team. We have incorporated the Accounts Flow integration into our standard Supplier Comms offering, meaning we no longer require FlowDownloader to retrieve the supplier invoices and import into the configured directory. On top of this, we have a new scheduled job that allows the user to schedule the retrieval of invoices from the Accounts Flow server and (if configured) automatically import to Bepoz.

Stock Module Enhancements
Overview
This release delivers a comprehensive upgrade to the Stock Module, targeting key operational improvements and resolving previously identified limitations. Enhancements focus on strengthening system controls, improving calculation accuracy, and increasing reliability across all stock-related workflows. Key updates include new operator-level permissions for greater access control, refined stocktake procedures to protect data integrity, and improved invoice calculation logic. Reporting accuracy has also been enhanced to support more dependable financial and inventory insights.

Waiter Table Enhancements
Overview
The Waiter Tables feature allows structured table-to-waiter assignments for restaurants. It enables clear ownership of tables, improves accountability, and helps prevent service overlap. Waiter assignments are configured in SmartPOS and enforced live at the POS, where only the assigned waiter (or an authorised user) can interact with the assigned tables.
This functionality enhances team efficiency and supports venues with complex staffing arrangements.

- Waiter Table workflows have been improved to work alongside operator logons & cashups to manage waiter availability.
- Assigned tables can only be transferred by the owner and to tables currently owned by that user
- Ability to assign tables to staff who are not yet clocked in by using a new operator flag called 'Allow All Waiters'
- Ability to display only waiters logged into the current store by configuring the Table Set Waiter function button with a 'Till Store Waiters Only' option
- Ability to transfer assigned tables to another server without manager approval using a new operator privilege called 'Allow Transfer of Owned Tables'

Klaviyo Interface
Klaviyo offers an advanced marketing and automation platform aimed at enriching customer experiences through tailored interactions. Its core services encompass Email Marketing, which supports the development of dynamic emails and automated campaigns; SMS Marketing, facilitating direct communication with VIP customers; and Mobile Push Notifications to boost engagement.
Our new interface streamlines the creation of customer profiles based on Bepoz accounts, incorporating transaction data sent to Klaviyo for all account sales, along with voucher issuance for account holders. The primary objective is to establish a seamless connection between Bepoz and Klaviyo for timely data uploads, ensuring that essential customer information is readily accessible to the marketing team without disrupting daily workflows.

Overview
Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games) is a leading global gaming company specializing in cross-platform gaming experiences. Their gaming interface is designed to deliver seamless, engaging, and responsible gameplay across land-based casinos, online, and mobile platforms.
Our latest interface will utilise their ‘Envoy’ platform to securely connect via secure API and expose services from their system products. Envoy is not a game content platform, but rather a middleware solution that facilitates integration between Light & Wonder systems and Bepoz.
