Possible Uses
- Setting a Start Type can be useful when a fix schedule is not applicable but you would like to have control over when a Voucher can be redeemed this will commonly be used when issuing vouchers from SmartPOS or via the API
- Below are the settings to issue a voucher from SmartPOS using the Till Functions
- Within Voucher Setup there is a new option to set a Voucher Start Type
- Start Type options are:
- None - This is the default option
- Exact Date
- Number Of Days
- Number Of Hours
- Number Of Minutes
- Number Of Months
- Number Of Months
- Number Of Weeks
- Number Of Years
- Today Only
- Below is an example of a voucher that cant be redeemed on the same day as it was issued
- This example shows a voucher that cant be redeemed until after the 01 Jan 2017
- This is an alternative to setting a schedule on the voucher
