Learn how to apply modifiers
Apply Modifiers to Products
In the previous article (see: Create Modifiers ), we learnt how to create Modifiers, now let's learn how to apply them to your product!
APPLY MODIFIERS TO A SINGLE PRODUCT:
- In your Back Office => go to Products => Products => select the Category using the dropdown: for example Coffee
- Edit the Product wanted by clicking the Pen Icon:

- Go to Options => Type the name of your Modifier Option Group:

Add your Option Group by clicking the ➕
Modifiers can be added as:

Option Groups: For better organisation & for groups you need to re-assign to several products.

Single Modifier: for a modifier, you only need to use it once or rarely.
They will display as ' Miscellaneous ' if they are not grouped.
⚠️ Miscellaneous Modifiers can't be: Required or Grouped ! They will display Ungrouped under your product in your POS. -

Once all your Modifiers are applied, you can choose to have them

Grouped: 'Sugar Options'

Modifiers will be contained in a 'page'

Best option modifiers you use often but not every time
-

Required: 'Milks Options'
-
the Product can't be added without selecting the required modifier.

Best option for Modifiers that are mandatory.

On Display: 'Black Coffee options'
-
Don't tick any options.
-
The best option for modifiers you need to access fast & often.

REQUIRED:
As soon as 1 Modifier is ' required ' => all the groups assigned to that Product will be included in the Modifier Modal:
In your POS they look like this:

ON DISPLAY:

When your modifiers are selected they will have a green indicator:

CART:

APPLY MODIFIERS AS ' BULK ' TO SEVERAL PRODUCTS :
If several products require the same Modifiers, you can apply them all at once as 'Bulk'.
⚠️ Doing that will remove previous Modifiers applied to those products.

In your Back Office => go to Products => Products => select the Category using the dropdown:

Select the Products wanted by clicking the Checkboxes:

Go to OPTIONS => Assign Options:

Assign your Options as seen previously: Add Option Groups => Update:
