Why Inactivate a Product?
There may be a Product on the menu that is sold seasonally. If this is the case, it may not be desired to delete the entire Product as it may return to the menu at some point.
In this instance, the Product would be set to Inactive. Below are the steps to do so;
- Start by selecting the Pen Icon within the Manage Products Page
- This will direct the user to the Product Settings Page
- Once here, scroll down to the Attributes Section

This will direct the user to the Product Settings Page
Once here, scroll down to the Attributes Section
- Untick the Sell Product Field
- This action will now make the Product Inactive
- Select Save
View from Manage Products
- From the Manage Products Page, the Product will now display a Red Icon to signify that it is Inactive
