mPOS: Set up mPOS

mPOS is a small & simplified version of your POS with a size similar to a phone, you can carry it around to take orders & payments at the tables directly. Ideal for big venues offering Dine In.

⚠️ The Setup should be done on a Laptop or POS

If you are using mPOS as your main Device (no POS):

You can set it up on a laptop following the steps below

Create New Device Profile

Device Profiles are Profiles applied to your Device (here MPOS):

What Payment Terminal it's connected to, the Workflow, which Sections are assigned,

your preferred Order Types (dine in, takeaway, delivery, …), the options you want to display or not, …

1. In your Back Office => Settings => Venues & Stores (if you have multiple venues)

OR My Store

2. Go to => Device Profiles => Create:

3. Profile Name: MPOS ( We recommend using this for easier identification )
Profile Type: M POS

=> Create

4. Once created you can Edit the MPOS Profile by clicking on it:

  • Assign Store

  • Assign Sections

  • Change the workflow

  • Update the receipts printing options
