How to resize a database using Database.exe

Once the database size that is set on creation is reached, BEpoz does not handle increasing the size of it very well. In effect once the size set is reached BEpoz will do a lot of strange things, like give you variances between reports, i.e. Period Summary says Net sales of $1499.90, till balance will say $1499.90, the transaction journal will say $1,430.30, and the products summaries will say $1,502.50 all for the same reporting period.
The procedure below will overcome the issue of SQL rebuilding the database once it has reached its creation limit.
Once you have logged into database.exe click on the Modify Databases tab.

You will see Resize Database button

You will see the following Screen Appear.

You will need to enter the size in MB to increase. It is recommended to do this in 500MB intervals until you get to the maximum size allowable in the SQL version, i.e. 10,000MB for SQL2008R2 express.
