      1 | About Coupons

      Coupons The coupon is an optional feature that can be activated or inactivated in Feature Control (refer to Feature Control under Settings). At the Coupons screen, the Back-Panel users will be able to add, edit and delete promotional coupons that can be used by customers in YourOrders’ checkout process. View and Update Coupons In this section, the Back-Panel users can see a list with all the coupons. By clicking on the name of the coupon, the editing page will open.

      Coupons 

      The coupon is an optional feature that can be activated or inactivated in Feature Control (refer to Feature Control under Settings). At the Coupons screen, the Back-Panel users will be able to add, edit and delete promotional coupons that can be used by customers in YourOrders’ checkout process.


      View and Update Coupons 

      In this section, the Back-Panel users can see a list with all the coupons. By clicking on the name of the coupon, the editing page will open. Here the Back-Panel users can see the coupon’s usage report and also edit the necessary fields. After all the changes are done, click on OK to save the changes and exit the page or cancel the current edit by clicking on Cancel and revert to what is stored in the database for that item.

      Add a New Coupon 


      By clicking on Add Coupon, a new screen will open. Here the Back-Panel users can set the coupon rules such as the discounts, when it will be applicable, starting and ending date and if it’s applicable to the products total or to the delivery fee. 


      a. Name: Name of the coupon for internal use only. 

      b. Auto Apply: If enabled and coupon conditions are met the coupon will be applied to the order automatically.  If disabled coupon code must be entered in manually at checkout 

      c. Code: Promotional code of the coupon to be used by YourOrder customers.  

      d. Type: Defines if the coupon gives a percentage or specific $dollar value amount discounts. 

      e. Amount: The Discount amount will depend on the Coupon Type.  

      f. Promotion start: Defines when this coupon will start working. The Back-Panel users have the option to mark it as “Immediate” for it to start straight away.  

      g. Promotion ends: Defines when this coupon will stop working. The Back-Panel users have the option to mark it as “no-end” for it to be active for an indeterminate period of time. 


      LIMITS 

      h. Minimum Order: Minimum order total required for this coupon to be used. If “No-limit” is ticked, no minimum amount will be required. 

      i. Bepoz Item Discount Totaliser ID:  BEPOZ discount totaliser to use when applying the coupon discount  


      ADDITIONAL RULES 

      j. Coupon Type - Product Discount: The discount will only apply over the products’ total. If there is a delivery fee, no discount will be applied to it. 

      k. Coupon Type - Delivery Discount: The discount will only apply over the delivery fee. 

      l. Bundle Delivery Surcharge and Product coupons: If selected, this will enable delivery discount coupon to be used in conjunction with cart discount coupon and visa versa. 


      DEFAULT SCHEDULE: 

      m. From: Defines what time this coupon will start working on each day of the week. 

      n. To: Defines what time this coupon will stop working on each day of the week.
