4 | Adding Account Membership Add-Ons via SmartPOS

This article explains the process of adding/removing Membership Add-Ons as well as Cancel/Change Membership in SmartPOS and how to manage them for individual Members. In this instance will be using Stripe as a payment option. For details on payment options via Stripe and how they are configured, please see the 'Creating Stripe Accounts' article.

Adding Account Membership and Add-Ons via SmartPOS

  • To add an account Membership and Add-On in SmartPOS, complete the following steps:
    1. Click the 'Select Account' button and select the desired Account
    2. If the Account is not currently a Member it will prompt a message asking if the Operator wants to add a Membership
      1. Selecting Yes will continue to process
      2. If No, it will cancel the Membership
    3. Select the Membership in the prompt, it will then give you a confirmation if you wish to continue joining the Membership
    4. A prompt will again display in SmartPOS asking the Operator if they wish to select any Membership Add-Ons
    5. Select the Add-On to use and click Add; otherwise, click on the Close button to close the prompt
    6. Choose a Payment method to finalise the Membership and Add-Ons for the Account

Add and Remove Membership Add-Ons after Memberships have joined via SmartPOS

  • To add a Member Add-On in SmartPOS, complete the following steps:
    1. Click the 'Select Account' button and select the desired Account
    2. Select the 'Account Details' function and click on the Membership button

    

    1. Click on the 'Membership AddOns' button, this will prompt you with a list of Add-Ons to select
    2. Either Add or Remove Add-Ons; click the Close button to close the prompt
    3. Choose a payment method to finalise the Add-Ons for the Account

Cancel Membership via SmartPOS

  • To Cancel a Membership via SmartPOS, complete the following steps:
    1. Click the 'Select Account' button and select the desired account
    2. Select the 'Account Details' function and click on the Membership button

    1. Click on Cancel Membership and a prompt will display to confirm to cancel the membership from the current account; select Yes to confirm

Change Membership via SmartPOS

  • To Change a Membership via SmartPOS, complete the following steps:
    1. Click the 'Select Account' button and select the desired account
    2. Select the 'Account Details' function and click on the Membership button

    1. Select the Change Membership button; this will display a list of available membership
    2. Highlight a membership and click the Select button; this will allow renewing a membership for the current account
    3. Confirm the payment to continue by clicking the Yes button
    4. A list of Existing Store Card will display; from here you can add a stored card or select the existing Stored Card that is available

                                a.  Adding a Stored Card will allow you to create a new payment; for this instance, we are creating a new Stripe payment

                7. Fill in the details and select OK

                8. This will setup an account and monthly billing for the customer which can be viewed in the Scheduled Billing Report

                9. It will then prompt you to select any Membership Add-Ons

      • Selecting Yes will allow you to add available Membership Add-Ons
      • Selecting No will close the transaction

                10. Make payments for Membership Add-Ons
