4 | Admin Backpanel - Merchant App Settings

This section explains the YourOrder Admin Backpanel configurations for the Merchant App. The intent of these settings is customer notification customisation when orders are prepared, en route or ready to collect by patrons; to automate movement of orders across the Orders Board in the app; and/or to configure staff’s access to the app.

This section explains the YourOrder Admin Backpanel configurations for the Merchant App. The intent of these settings is customer notification customisation when orders are prepared, en route or ready to collect by patrons; to automate movement of orders across the Orders Board in the app; and/or to configure staff’s access to the app. Whilst settings in the app can be changed during hours, please complete any updates to this section prior to service if possible. 

Proceed to the ‘Merchant App’ section down the bottom of the Settings section in the Admin Backpanel of the YourOrder website. 





Main Settings – Refers to first tab in the Merchant App section. Tab contains settings to enable/disable the service app and configure how notifications send to customers. The following options are available: 

a. Enable Merchant App – if enabled new orders that are placed will display in the service app. 

b. Service Notification Method – Select between SMS and In-App notification. Setting should always be set to SMS. 

c. SMS (Notification) Delay – Number of seconds delay before order SMS/notifications are sent to the customer. 

d. Send Backup email – if enabled then when order SMS notification fails to send to customer (because of issue with the service) customer will receive an email instead. 

e. Hub Key: PLEASE AVOID THIS SETTING. CONFIGURED BY A MEMBER OF BEPOZ/VECTRON





Notification Settings 
– the second tab in the Merchant App section of the Admin Backpanel. Tab contains settings to configure the notifications sent to customers and if notifications send either to tell customer order is being prepared or order is ready to collect/en route or both. Further notification can be enabled/disabled for each service type (e.g, Dine In). The following options are available: 

a. Ready for Collection – if switched to ON for relevant service type then when the order is moved to the relevant “En Route”/”Ready to Collect” column in the Merchant App customer will receive a notification 

b. Ready for Collection ([service type]) Notification message – Customise the notification text sent to customers when order is ready to collect by driver or patron for each service type. 
*Leave the variables/the text in brackets “” as these are specific to the customer’s order. E.g, name, delivery address, store, etc. Do not remove these. 

c. Order Acceptance – if switched to ON for relevant service type then when the order is moved to the “Preparing” column in the Merchant App customer will receive a notification. 

d. Order Acceptance Notification message – Customise the notification text sent to customers when order preparation begins. 



 


Internal Confirmation 
– the third tab in the Merchant App section of the Admin Backpanel. Tab contains settings to make orders automatically progress from a relevant column to the next on the Orders Board of the Merchant App or prompt the user to authorise the movement across. The following options are available: 

a. Accept automatically – if switched to ON for relevant service type then after 1 minute every order will automatically move from the “Schedule” column to the “Preparing” column. 

b. Ready to collect Confirmation – if switched to ON for relevant service type then a confirmation window will display to the user before the order moves from the ‘Preparing’ column to the ‘En Route/Ready to Collect’ column. 

c. Auto Collection – if switched to ON for relevant service type then after 1 minute every order will automatically move from the ‘En Route/Ready to Collect’ column to the ‘Delivered/Collected’ column. 
*This switch in the Admin Backpanel has the same function as the ‘Auto Collection’ toggle in the Settings/Dashboard section of the Merchant App 

d. Order Collect confirmation – if switched to ON for relevant service type then a confirmation window will display to the user as a final check when order is moved from the ‘En Route/Ready to Collect’ column to the ‘Delivered/Collected’ column. 



Users
– the final tab in the Merchant App section of the Admin Backpanel. This tab contains settings to allow staff to access and use the Merchant App. 



The following fields are available: 

a. Add new user – Select between users with the “Staff” role in the Admin Backpanel to provide access to allow that staff member to use the app. Please follow the red steps in the picture above: 
(i) Choose the user (Refer to Step 3.) 
(ii) Press “green tick” to save (Refer to Step 4.). 

b. X (Delete user) – Click the “X” (red cross) from the table against the staff member to withdraw access to prevent them from using the app. 

PLEASE NOTE: Users with the Admin role can access to Merchant App automatically. They do not need to be added here.
