9 | All Printers Tab Overview

This article covers the "All Printers" Tab of Bepoz Diagnostics. The tab consists of all the printers that are configured in BackOffice whether they are currently active or not. Operators are allowed to check the printer status and edit settings of either all the printers or a selected printer.

Field

Description

All Printers
  • This field contains a list of all the printers that are set up in BackOffice along with their IP addresses, Fallback & Redirect addresses, Ping Option and Test Results 
Test All Printers
  • This button allows testing of all the printers that are displayed on the screen
  • A Bepoz Diagnostics report will be printed out once the test has been completed
Test One Printer
  • This button allows the operator to test only one selected printer from the list
  • A Bepoz Diagnostics report will be printed out once the test has been completed
Retrieve Status
  • This button displays the status of the printer selected
Select New Printer
  • This button allows operators to select a particular printer to print receipts to
Modify Printer
  • This button allows to edit/modify the printer settings
  • This will open the 'Change Comport Setup' window from where operators make changes to printer settings

        

Always on Top
  • This flag will always display the Diagnostics screen on the top of any other windows displayed
On-Screen Keyboard
  • Selecting the 'On-Screen Keyboard' button will display the on-screen keyboard
Run Database
  • Selecting the 'Run Database' button will execute the Database.exe program
Refresh Data from SmartController
  • Selecting the 'Refresh Data From SmartController' will attempt to retrieve all global data
Close
  • Selecting 'Close' will close the diagnostic screen
