This article provides a CALink & BackOffice setup guide for the Aristocrat S7000 Interface, specifically the Multi-Points Bucket feature set. Prerequisites
  • For an operator to be able to setup Aristocrat S7000 multi-points bucket, the following privileges must be enabled 
    • Venue Maintenance "Flags" Tab
      • System Setup: "All System Flags"

CALink Setup

 

 

 

Fields

Description

Server Type

  • This is the type of server used: S7000_rest
URL
  • This is the URL to connect to the interface
    • This is provided by Aristocrat 

Till Connection TCP Port

  • This is the port at which CALink connects with BackOffice
     Points Type
  • This is the name of the Points Type
Send Dollar Amt (Not Point)
  • This flag determines that whether CALink will send through Dollar value or Point value of transaction from SmartPOS to Aristocrat Interface
Percent Change
  • This is the redeem points percent and the default value is 100.00
    • The Bepoz redeem points percent must be 10,000% and the redeem point value $0.01. (the Earn percent would be 400% to 1,000% - 25 to 1, 10 to 1) 
Registration
  • This is the registration ID provided by Aristocrat to connect to the interface
User Name
  • This is the username provided by Aristocrat to connect to the interface
Password
  • This is the password for the given username
    • This is provided by Aristocrat to connect to the interface
Tiering Name
  • This is the tiering name which tells which Analysis codes is used for tiering
    • This is provided by Aristocrat
Turn On Logging
  • This flag when enabled, creates the CALink logs in the directory  C:\BePOZ\Data\CALink_Logs
Open Log Directory
  • Opens the CALink logs directory C:\BePOZ\Data\CALink_Logs

Point Type Setup

 

Setting up multiple points bucket begins with the Point Type Setup within the CALink


 

Fields

Description

External ID
  • This is the ID provided by Aristocrat which is used to map Points Buckets in Bepoz
Name
  • This is the given name for the Points Bucket
Point Type
  • This is the type of points which can be rewarded
    • The point type is 'PointBucket' 
Priority
  • When there are multiple points buckets available and priority is set, the system will pick as per the priority set
CALink Trigger
  • This is the name used in Bepoz while creating the buckets at BackOffice
Use Points Bucket
  • When enabled, points bucket is used
Sort and Draw
  • This will sort the points bucket list based on the priority
Default
  • This is the default points bucket where we earn points to
    • Only one points bucket can be set as the default

BackOffice Setup
  • There are mainly two BackOffice setups that need to be configured which allows BackOffice to connect to CALink; these are outlined below:
Venue Setup
  1. Go to Backoffice > System Setup
  2. Select Venue, Stores & Tills, and open Venue Maintenance
  3. Select a venue and open Venue Maintenance
  4. In the External Links Tab, set the CALink #1 Gaming Points Link as follows:
    • CALink Name: Name of the CALink
    • CALink IP: This is the IP Address of the CALink communication with the Gaming system
    • CALink Port: This is the TCP Port of the CALink communication with the Gaming system
    • Timeout Seconds: Set the timeout seconds as required
    • Enable the flags
      • Update Bepoz Accounts: Creates a local account within Bepoz based on the account it has received from CALink
      • Use Tiering: When enabled, it gives information of the Bepoz account and gives what tier the member is in
      • Split Point BucketsWhen enabled, it redeems from multiple buckets at SmartPOS. It forces SmartPOS to request multiple points bucket from CALink
  5. In the Venue Maintenance Main Tab, set the Points Earn Percent to 1.00% and Points Redeem Percent to 100.00%

     

     

    Till/Workstation Setup
    1. Login to Backoffice and go to System Setup
    2. Go to Venue, Stores & Tills which will open a window
    3. Select a Till and open Workstation Maintenance
    4. In the Flags/Other Tab, enable the 'Use CALink' Flag
    5. In the Till Setup Tab, select the Redeem Profile Default value from the drop down. If there is no Points Profile created, create one  Points Profiles  with 100% points percentage

     

       

       Store Maintenance
      1. Login to Backoffice and go to System Setup
      2. Go to Venue, Stores & Tills which will open a window
      3. Select a Store and open Store Maintenance
      4. Under Store Maintenance General Tab, set the Points Redeem Percent to 100%
