Authorizing a Bepoz installation (CMP)

Overview

To use the various component of Bepoz, you need to authorize the system via CMP

Time to complete:

5 Minutes

Prerequisites

CMP Auth privileges and Access to BEPOZ CMP

CMP Auth 

Run Backoffice, when it starts you should get a message saying the system is not Authorised - Click OK

 

You will now be presented with an Authorisations Popup, showing you the SystemID and also highlighting any component that are or are not enabled. 

Because you have not Authed this system yet all of the option should be unchecked.

Make a note or copy the SystemID

 

Login to CMP 

On the Right hand side click on the Customers Button 

 

Within the next window you should see a Create Customer button 

 

Within the next window on the Customer Edit Tab you will now see the first form of the authorisation process 

Here you will add in the following 

SystemID

Trading Name

Phone 

Email

Address 

 

Within the Options Tab you will specify what functionality the current system will be authorised for 

Here you have the following options:

Number of Backoffice Workstation 

Number of SmartPOS Terminals

Number of SmartPAD

Etc

 

For a Support/Demo Bepoz Installation you will generally enable most of the flags

Most Important of all the flags is the 'Support System' flag 

Once all the flags are checked

Click Save

 

Once the New Customer has been saved - Navigate to the Options Tab once more 

and copy the Auth Code 

 

The last Step in the authorisation process is to Navigate to your Authorisations pop out form again and Paste the Auth-Code into the 'Auth Code Text Box' and click Apply

 

 

Now the Authorisations Pop-out form should populate with the authed requirements.

Click Close and Backoffice will now launch into your newly authorised system
