3 | Bally Interface SmartPOS Workflow

This article covers the SmartPOS workflow for the Bally Gaming Interface. Once the Bally Interface has been configured in BackOffice , Operators can retrieve Member Account data via SmartPOS. Additionally, in BackOffice, Accounts will be automatically created/updated based on defined tier level in Bally.

Prerequisites

  • For an operator to be able to use Bally, following prerequisites must be met
    • Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab

    SmartPOS Workflow

    • Once a customer's card is swiped at the till, the SmartPOS gets the account from CAlink
    • This account will be automatically created/updated in backoffice at the correct tier level
    • Operators can then view and use the points for transactions

    • Operators can also setup an External Payment system for Bally
    • If the transaction is charged to Bally, it will simply deduct the dollar amount from the member's account
