      About

        • Bematech is a provider of Kitchen Display Systems offering both software and hardware solutions
        • There are multiple Bematech KDS Software solutions that we can integrate with - LS6000 and LS8000
          • While there are differences in the functionality and feature sets between the 2 solutions, general configuration setups are similar and setup documentation contains details for both

        Prerequisites

        • To access Bematech LS8000 features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
          • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
            • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
            • System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
            • System Setup: "Maintain Scheduled Jobs" Flag
            • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" Flag

        Key Features

        BackOffice Setup

          LS6000

          • Configurations for the LS6000 include the following:
            • Defining the KDS Server that will run the KDS Manager software
            • Configuring the KDS Manager Settings
            • Adding a Kitchen Display Device - "KDS Bematech 6000"
            • Completing Printing Setups includes defining Printer Types, Printer Profiles to be used & assigned to Products, Printer Formats, and mapping KDS Devices to Printer Types
            • Configuring a "Bematech Bumps" Scheduled Job
            • Configuring KDS Stations

          LS8000

          • In addition to the KDS Server and Station setup requirements, the integration with Bematech LS8000 begins with configuring various components in BackOffice; some are mandatory & some are optional:
            • Adding a Kitchen Display Device  - "KDS Bematech 8000"
            • Sett  Scheduled Jobs - "Bematech Send 8000" & "Bematech Bumps 8000"
            • Till Functions - Comment Functions & "Rush Order" Function
            • BackOffice Extension - "Bematech Prep Time"
            • Product Settings - "Preparation Time"
