      2 | Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard

      Learn how to covers an overview of the Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard and the available options within it.  The Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard is the main menu for troubleshooting issues.  There are a variety of options that Operators can select from including:  Server Connection Checking,  Hardware Specs,  Software Errors and Troubleshooting,  Database Management and Access.

      This article covers an overview of the Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard and the available options within it. 

      The Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard is the main menu for troubleshooting issues. There are a variety of options that Operators can select from including: Server Connection Checking, Hardware Specs, Software Errors and Troubleshooting, Database Management and Access.

      Prerequisites

      Bepoz Diagnostic Dashboard Snapshot
      • This tab is the Snapshot of the Computer Hardware and Operating System installed on the machine along with the directory that Windows is installed on

      Quick Troubleshooter

       

      Buttons

      Description
      Till Not Connecting
      • For a Till to fully function, the computer needs to connect to the smart controller in the Venue
      • When this button is selected, the operators will have an option to display an analysis of the computer's ability to run as a till and also an option to fix any issues found
      Printer Not Printing
      • This fixes the printing problem caused due to configuration error or disconnection
      Smart Controller Check Setups
      • For the SmartController to fully function, the computer needs to connect to both Smart Controller running on the server and SQL server also running on the server
      • When selecting the 'Smart Controller Check Setups' button, operators will have an option to display an Analysis of the computer's ability to run SmartController and also an option to attempt to fix any issues found
      BackOffice Not Starting
      • For the Backoffice to fully function, the computer needs to connect to both Smart Controller running on the server and SQL server also running on the server
      • When selecting the 'BackOffice Not Starting' button, operators will have an option to display an Analysis of the computer's ability to run Backoffice and also an option to attempt to fix any issues found

      Field/Button

      Description
      Basic Info Section
      • This is not a separate section but is a list of all the hardware and functions being used in Bepoz above the 'Refresh' button
      Refresh
      • When selecting the 'Refresh button', it will refresh the diagnostics screen
      Shutdown Computer
      • The 'Shutdown Computer' Button closes all Bepoz programs after selecting either shut down or restart buttons
      Always on Top
      • The 'Always On Top' flag will always display the diagnostic screen on top of any other windows displayed
      On-Screen Keyboard
      • Selecting the 'On-Screen Keyboard' button will display the on-screen keyboard
      Run Database
      • Selecting the 'Run Database' button will execute the Database.exe program
      Refresh Data from SmartController
      • Selecting the 'Refresh Data From SmartController' will attempt to retrieve all global data
      Close
      • Selecting 'Close' will close the diagnostic screen
