      3 | BERG - Product Setup

      This article elaborates on the BackOffice Product settings required for the BERG Interface. BERG controls the flow of liquid products and/or beverages so that any loss due to spill or over pouring of liquor is minimised. The Products can be set to different Sizes based on the amount allocated for each Size. These Sizes are read by BERG and only the respective amount of liquid is allowed to be poured at once.

      Prerequisites

      • To setup products for BERG, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
        • Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
          • All flags in 'Products' section

      Product Size Configuration

      • After logging into BackOffice, go to Maintenance > Products
      • This will open the 'Product List' window
      • Select a Product Group > Specific Product
      • In the Product Maintenance Tab, go to  Store/ Price Settings  and set the Size and Price of the product


      • Once complete, Operators can test the settings in  SmartPOS  to check if correct Price and Size come up
