4 | BidFood Integration - Receive PriceBook File

This article covers a step-by-step guide to importing BidFood Pricebook files in BackOffice. BidFood Products can be imported through Supplier PriceBook or done through a Scheduled Job. All data retrieved will then be Imported and Updated accordingly in BackOffice.

Prerequisites

  • To access Import features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • System Setup: 'Access Venue, Stores & Tills' flag
      • System Setup: 'Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills' flag
      • System Setup: 'Maintain Scheduled Jobs' flag

Step-by-Step Guide

  • Once you have configured a Supplier Communication Link, the BidFood Pricebook file can be imported manually from BackOffice or can be imported automatically via the Schedule Job
  • Follow the below steps to import Pricebook file manually from BackOffice:
    1. Navigate to Stock Control in the side menu panel
    2. Select the Supplier Price Book options
    3. Select the Supplier from the drop-down list
    4. Then select the Update PriceBook button


  • Import will start to process with Products
    • Any errors will display in the Import log
  • Once Import has finished, select Close
  • It will now display all the products that were imported from BidFood
  • The imported Pricebook file is located in this location C:\Bepoz\Data\Bidfood\Archive folder
  • When the flag 'Delete Remote File' is enabled in the Supplier Comms Receive Mode, it deletes the Pricebook file from BidFood SFTP folder once it is imported successfully to Bepoz


  • Follow the below steps to import Pricebook file automatically via the Schedule Job:
    1. Navigate to System Setup in the side menu panel
    2. Select Schedule Jobs option 
    3. Select the configured BidFood Schedule Job from the list
    4. Click on Run Job Now ! which will start the schedule job and start the Pricebook file import process
    5. The imported Pricebook file is located in this location C:\Bepoz\Data\Bidfood\Archive folder
    6. When the flag 'Delete Remote File' is enabled in the Supplier Comms Receive Mode, it deletes the Pricebook file from BidFood SFTP folder once it is imported successfully to Bepoz
