This article briefly explains the logic behind CALink Vouchers and how they are implemented in Bepoz.

CALink Vouchers are the type of Vouchers that are not manually created within Bepoz but are created by businesses and sent to Bepoz via CALink. These type of vouchers are related to CALink Accounts (External Accounts) which may or may not be updated in Backoffice depending on CALink overall configuration. These can be mapped with Bepoz Voucher Type on the basis of values entered in 'CAlink Trigger' section of  Voucher Setup.

Prerequisites

  • To access Voucher Setup features, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
    • Marketing & Promotions  Tab 
      • Promotions: "Maintain Voucher Setups" Flag
      • Promotions: "Issues/Edit Vouchers " Flag

Backoffice CALink Logic

  • The CALink Trigger section in Voucher Setup allows operators to Add the Trigger value which when matches to the Voucher datafield sent through CAlink will recognise the Voucher Type
  • This will then automatically create a Voucher within bepoz on the basis of credentials received
  • This Voucher can be used at SmartPOS and the used value will be sent to the business via CAlink

  • Apart from CAlink Trigger section, the credentials in Voucher Details can also be used for matching CAlink Vouchers with Bepoz Vouchers
  • The value of Trigger field is sent to Bepoz Venue by their respective businesses an operators are required to create Voucher Types on the basis of the data provided
  • When CAlink is active, Vouchers are automatically issued under those Voucher Types 

SmartPOS Use

  • A Till Function button can be setup in SmartPOS called 'CAlink Vouchers' to access all the vouchers related to CAlink Accounts
  • These Vouchers when used will be updated into the backoffice and will be sent to the business through CAlink
