Card Prefix Programming

Overview

Summary

Bepoz uses magnetically encoded cards many functions, including:

  • Customer Accounts

  • Employee Security

  • Vouchers / Gift

Bepoz can be programmed to identify the type of card and parse the data on the card based on the card prefix.

Notes:

(1)  Account cards are recommended best practice for accounts, rechargable gift cards, and loyalty

(2) Voucher / Gift cards cannot be recharged

(3) Standard encoding for all cards is track 2

(4) Avoid leading zeros and letters, which are incompatible in certain scenarios

(5) 16 digit limit for numbers

Additional Information:

We can accommodate custom schemes if required by the customer

Our standard schemes create a capacity of 10 million cards by default (this can be modified for more if necessary)
