These settings allows operator to make the changes for the whole group rather than setting up individual product credentials.
This article explains about the Product / Store Change by Range function that allows operators to make bulk changes to Product Settings. These two 'Change by Range' functionalities can be used to reset or configure Product or Product Store configurations.
These settings allows operator to make the changes for the whole group rather than setting up individual product credentials.
Prerequisites
- For operators to be able to access these settings, following operator privileges must be enabled
-
Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab - Relevant 'Products' Flags
Change By Range
Step-by-Step Guide
- To access the Product or Store Change by Range settings; log in to BackOffice
- Go to Maintenance tab and click on the Product Option
- Select a Product Group from the list at the left-hand side
- Right-click on the Group
Product Change
- Select Product Change by Range option which will open the following window
- These details are similar to the settings available in the
Product "Product Settings" Tab - Use the 'Set' flag next to each setting to determine which specific, individual settings will indeed be set
Product Store Change
- If Store Change by Range is selected, the following window will appear
- The flags and fields available in this window is similar to
Product "Store/Pricing Settings" Tab - Use the 'Set' flag next to each setting to determine which specific, individual settings will indeed be set
- Alternatively, we can use this form to simply copy Prod Store settings from one Store to one or more other Stores by enabling the "Copy 'Store Change Settings'" flag
- As opposed to bulk changing Product Store settings for a Store, this offers us the ability to instead copy ALL Prod Store settings from one Store to one or more Stores at one time
- When ON, users are presented with new filters:
- Venue – use this to filter through if needed
- From Store will the destination Store that the Prod Store settings will be copied from
- To Store is used to select at least one Store (can select multiple Stores at once) that we’ll be copying the ProdStore settings to
- When using this method, we cannot configure any of the settings – we are only copying from store to store
- Notice that there’s a ‘Copy’ flag for each individual setting meaning that we do have the option to select or de-select which ProdStore settings will be copied over
