This article outlines a brief overview of Comparative Reporting in BackOffice.

Comparative Reporting allows Operators to compare Sales from one Report Period to another similar Period.

This feature is available for Till Summaries, Product Summaries, Operator Summaries, Stock Summaries, and Account Summaries.

This not only allows Shifts, Weeks, Days, Months and Years to be compared against each other - it also allows comparisons with part of a Week, Month, or Year. The partial Period looks at the number of days in the period that are selected and shows the same days in the second period. E.g., if today is Wednesday, the Current Week consists of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week; partial Last Week will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the previous week.
