Overview of the Job Settings

Bepoz Version Update

Recommended Settings:

• Venue(s) should always be set to All Venues 
• Schedules should be set to run once a day (The version will only download once if the version is detected in the NewVersion Folder)
• Function: Download Beta or Release

Function Options

• Download the Release Version 
• Download the BETA Version 

Additional Information

• A few new menu options have been added to SmartController in the Till Menu
  
• Mainly, the ability to pre-send the New Version to the Tills to allow faster updating of large sites
  Additionally, there is a new column on the screen listing the Tills named "Version Waiting"; this shows any version sitting in the New Version directory of the Till - ready to be used for updating
  Other new menu options are:
• Next Version Send to All Tills
• Next Version Send to One Till
• Clean New Version Directory One Till
• Clean New Version Directory All Tills
• Get Till Status for All Tills
• Get Till Status for One Till
• View Till Status

• The "Version Waiting" is also available for MultiVenue Setups in the Venues Tab on Smartcontroller at the Headoffice Smartcontroller

Schedule an Update

• Venue(s) should always be set to All Venues 
• Schedules should be set to run once with an End Date
• Function: Update The Bepoz Version

Additional Information

• VenuePartial Databases do update Schedule jobs, so you can send down a partial to enable and auto-update within a few minutes
  
• You can use the "Ping All Venues" to refresh the "Version Waiting List" if the Scheduled Job is run on the same day, this list is normally only refreshed in Smartcontrol housekeeping

Revert an Update

• Venue(s) should always be set to All Venues 
• Schedules should be set to run once only
• Function: Revert Version to Previous 
• The Revert Version Number should equal the number of the version you want to revert too; Example "46014"
