This article covers the two (2) default reporting views for the Cost Movement Report. Prerequisites
  • To access Cost Movements Report Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
    • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
      • Other Reports: "Allow Analysis Reports" Flag

"_Products" View
  • The Products View of the Cost Movement Report contains the following data columns by default:

 

Column Heading

Data Description/Formula

Item Volume
  • This column displays the volume of each item as configured in the Product Maintenance
First Cost
  • This column displays the previous cost of Products
Last Cost
  • This column displays the new cost of  Products
Cost Change Percent
  • This column displays the percentage of cost change
  • I.e., Cost Change Percent = ( Last Cost- First Cost / First Cost ) X 100% 
Total Purchased Cost
  • This column displays the previous Total Purchase Cost of the Product 
Purchased at Different Cost
  • This column displays the new total cost at which the products were purchased 
Purchased Difference Due to Cost Changes
  • This column displays the difference caused due to change in Product Cost


"_Supplier" View
  • The Supplier View displays all the Cost Changes made by Suppliers during the reporting period
  • This report consists of the following data columns by default:

Data Description/Formula

Cost Change Percent
  • This column displays the percentage of change by the supplier
  • I.e.,  (Last Cost - First Cost / First Cost) X 100%
Total Purchased Cost
  • The Total Purchased Cost is the first cost at which Products were purchased
Purchased at Different Cost
  • The Purchased at Different Cost displays the new cost at which products were purchased
Purchased Difference Due to Cost Changes
  • This column shows the difference occurred in purchase price due to change of price
