Overview
When The Venue Smartcontroller Server/PC is beyond recovery and you will need to recover the venue server with Transaction and Table transactions.
Prerequisites
Bepoz Version 4.5.1.136 and Above
Creating the VenueRecovery.zip
Open Database.exe at head office
From the tabs above you will need to select 'MultiVenue' Tab
Select The 'Create Venue Data Recovery' Button
Restore Venue Database window will prompt to enter the Venue ID that you wish to recover
Enter the Venue ID and select OK
Database.exe will create a file called 'VenueRecovery.zip' in the zipped backup directory
Locate the 'VenueRecovery.zip and copy to USB Media or over Network to restore at Venue.
Restoring the VenueRecovery.zip
At the venue open Database.exe
From the Tab above you will need to select the 'Backup' Tab
Select the 'restore database (zip or bak)' Button
locate and select the VenueRecovery.zip file
Enter a Name for the Recovered database
Database will start restoring
MUST RUN UPDATE TABLES TO CREATE STORE PROCEDURES
Once the database has been restored select the 'Set Registry settings' Tab
Set the workstation to the Venue Smartcontroller workstation and select the 'Set Registry' Button to save registry settings
Start smart controller at the venue and select the 'Headoffice' tab
The status will display ' Invalid Database', This message will display as the venue and Head Office are not in sync. you will need to send the database from head office to the venue to ensure database are synced
once the database has been sent from head office to venue and the venue has restored the database sent from head office you will need to restart Smart controller at the venue.
Once the smart controller has been restarted at the venue, the status of the Head Office connection will display online.
