      Database.exe - Rename

      Overview

      This article explains the process of renaming a Database via database.exe 

      Overview

      • This process prevent unnecessary errors and steps when restoring a database.zip that has been renamed

      • Below is an example of the error that needs to be prevented

      • A .zip should NOT be renamed via properties

      Step-by-step Guide

      • If a database needs to be renamed, then the correct workflow is outlined below

      • Open database.exe and go to the "Modify Database" tab marked (A) below and then press the "Rename Database" function button marked (B) found in the "Database Functions" section

      • This will populate the below screen where the current database name will be shown

      • Enter the New Name for the Database

      • Once Pressed OK, the Database Name will be automatically updated

      • Go to General Tab and Refresh the page or Select the Renamed database which will attach all the Data into the database
