This article outlines the "Display/Print Table Hold Fire Products" Till Function and how it is used and configured in BackOffice. The Display/Print Table Hold Fire Products function will allow an Operator to select Held Products to be Printed immediately or set a timer to determine when Products will Print. Additionally, if this Till Function is configured as such, Operators will be able to Set specific Times for Future Orders to be Printed.

The Display/Print Table Hold Fire Products function will allow an Operator to select Held Products to be Printed immediately or set a timer to determine when Products will Print. Additionally, if this Till Function is configured as such, Operators will be able to Set specific Times for Future Orders to be Printed.

Prerequisites 

• To access Till Function Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
  
• Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
  
• System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" Flag
  

Initial Set-Up

• Click on the desired Button space and then configure the Button Settings:
• In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
  
• Set the Function drop-down to 'Tables & Accounts'
  
• Set the Sub-Function to 'Display/Print Table Hold Fire Products'

Function-Specific Configuration Options

• Enter the corresponding Product Sort # (or 0 for All Product Sorts) into the Item field that Operators will have the option to Print Product/s for
• E.g., to allow Operators to select Held Products to Print that have the Product Sort #4, enter "4" into the field
• When the Till Function button is selected a window will open on the Till screen allowing the Operator to select Products to Print, but will only show Products that belong to that Product Sort
• If desired, enter a corresponding number into the SubItem field where:
• "2" will allow Operators to enter a New Time for Orders to be Printed (or are intended to be ready for Service/Delivery)
  
• This is meant to be used for Delayed Orders and in conjunction with the similar configuration of the "Save Table Hold Fire" function
  
• "4" will allow Operators to enter a New Date and Time for Orders to be Printed (or are intended to be ready for Service/Delivery)
