This is a summary page for Doshii Integration with Bepoz. This integration allows a Venue to retrieve and handle Doshii Orders in SmartPOS. Configuration within BackOffice includes a Scheduled Job, a Till Extension Device, Transaction Queue Device a Till Function Button - all of which facilitates our integration with Doshii helping to retrieve and handle transactions. This integration allows a Venue to retrieve and handle Doshii Orders in SmartPOS.

Configuration within BackOffice includes a Scheduled Job, a Till Extension Device, Transaction Queue Device & a Till Function Button - all of which facilitates our integration with Doshii helping to retrieve and handle transactions.

About

    • The Doshii Integration with Bepoz helps to integrate different apps with the Venue for Dine-In, Pickup and Delivery orders
    • Once this integration is completed, every online order is sent directly to SmartPOS
    • Features that are specific to the Doshii Integration include the following:
      • Order retrieval - The orders retrieved from Doshii can be accepted or rejected at SmartPOS
        • There are different workflows for accepting and rejecting processes respectively which are covered in additional documentation (linked below)
      • Pay@Table - Doshii retrieves order details from SmartPOS and allows for making a payment for that order
      • POS Initiated Payments - Allows for handling a payment request initiated by Operators at SmartPOS
      • Check-ins - Customer check-in data/information can be from SmartPOS to Doshii in real time along with Orders
    • Orders received are either set for Pickup, Delivery or Dine-In
      • When Orders are retrieved in SmartPOS from Doshii, Operators will be able to see the Order Type of either "Dine-In" or "Pickup" or "Delivery" and can then use the Till Function Buttons to handle each Order

    Note: From v4.7.2.5 onwards, the promotions to Doshii are not supported. Doshii does not have the capability to support Bepoz promotions


    Prerequisites

    • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7 and onwards
    • For an operator to be able to setup Doshii Integration, the following privileges must be enabled:
      • Venue Maintenance "Main" Tab (General Settings)
        • All “System Setup” Flags
      • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
        • System Setup: “Maintain Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
        • System Setup: “Access Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
        • System Setup: “Maintain Schedule Job” Flag
        • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag

    Key Features

    BackOffice Setup

    • To implement the Doshii Integration, a Transaction Queue Device, Till Extension Device, and multiple Schedule Jobs need to be created and configured according to the details provided by Doshii
    • The Scheduled Jobs, once configured, allow the SmartController to communicate with Doshii to send data 
      • This ensures the price changes, table changes, and any change to the Products will be sent to Doshii
      • The data will be updated in near real-time so that Doshii has accurate data
    • The Doshii Integration Till Extension Device enables the SmartController to communicate with Doshii to retrieve Orders in SmartPOS
      • The Till Extension links to a Table Group which is used to create the Transaction in Bepoz 
    • The Doshii Transaction Queue Device is created to send the payments and sales data from SmartPOS to Doshii
    • Till Function Buttons can be configured to retrieve orders from Doshii
      • Separate Till Function Buttons for Pickup and Delivery order types need to be configured

    SmartPOS Functionality

    • A Till Function Button must be configured to retrieve orders from Doshii which are in 'Pending' status
    • When the operator clicks on the 'Pending Orders' button, the current orders received from Doshii will be listed on screen
    • Doshii orders are either Pickup, Delivery or Dine-In - and when they are received at SmartPOS, you will be able to see the order type as "Pickup" or "Delivery" or "Dine-in"
    • Once the pending orders are accepted, the order status is updated for the corresponding order type
    • When the order is accepted, payment is also accepted
      • Once the order is paid, the operator can select to print or not to print the receipt
    • The Operator can reject the orders received from Doshii by selecting the order from "Pending Orders" and click on  'Reject'
      • A list of Rejection Reasons display; choose one of the reasons to reject the order and the rejected order will move out from the Accept/Reject Order list
