This article covers the setups that are required to configure the Till Function buttons for retrieving and processing Doshii orders via SmartPOS.
This article covers the setups that are required to configure the Till Function buttons for retrieving and processing Doshii orders via SmartPOS.Prerequisites
- Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7 and onwards
- To access Till Function Settings, the applicable Operator privileges will need to be enabled

About
- In order to access Doshii orders on SmartPOS, a 'Custom Function' Till Function button must be configured in Backoffice
The operator can either 'Accept', 'Reject', 'Display' or 'Cancel' orders that are retrieved
Till Function Button(s) Setup
- To set up the Till Function buttons for the Doshii Integration, navigate to the Till Function Maps option under System Setup in the BackOffice side Menu bar
- This will open the Till Function Override Setup tab; select the desired Function Map from the available list of Function Maps and click on Edit Highlighted Function Map
- Note: If there are no Function Maps, please click on
Adding a Till Function Map button to add a new Function Map - This will open the Function Map tab which will display the Function Map menu as it would appear SmartPOS
Doshii Pending Orders Button
- The orders received from Doshii will be in pending status and the orders will need to be accepted or rejected at SmartPOS
- A Till Function Button will need to be configured to access the pending orders from Doshii
- Click on the desired Button space and then configure the Button Settings as follows:
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Custom Function'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Till Extension Function'
- In the Item field, enter '1', SubItem as '-1' and Save the Function Map
- The system will recognise that the Doshii integration is configured and use the Custom Till Extension Function as necessary with minimal setup
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Custom Function'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Till Extension Function'
- In the Item field, enter '1', SubItem as '-1' and Save the Function Map
Doshii Delivery and Pickup Orders Button
- The Delivery and Pickup orders from Doshii will be displayed at SmartPOS with the order type as 'Delivery' and 'Pickup' respectively
- Till Function Buttons are required to be configured to access Delivery and Pickup orders received from Doshii
- To add the Delivery Till Function Button, click on the desired button space and then configure the Button Settings:
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- For example : 'Doshii Delivery'
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Tables and Accounts'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Delivery or Pickup Alpha'
- In the Item field, enter the Table Group number which was configured for the Delivery Table Group Name on the
Venue Maintenance "Tables" Tab - Save the Function Map
- To add the Pickup Till Function, click on the desired button space and then configure the Button Settings:
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- For example : 'Doshii Pickup'
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Tables and Accounts'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Delivery or Pickup Alpha'
- In the Item field, enter the Table Group number which was configured for the Pickup Table Group Name on the
Venue Maintenance "Tables" Tab - Save the Function Map
Doshii POS Initiated Payment Button
- A Till Function button needs to be configured for POS Initiated Payments
- For Doshii Dine-in orders, the payment can be initiated from SmartPOS
- Switch to the panel 'pnlTable' if not already on this panel and click on the desired Button space and then configure the Button Settings:
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Custom Function'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Till Extension Function'
- In the Item and SubItem field, enter '0'
- In the Key, enter the 'App Id' from Doshii and save the Function Map
- Note: If the Key field is left blank/empty, then Operator will be presented with a modal window on SmartPOS to choose from a list of connected third-party applications supported by the Venue
- The system will recognise that the Doshii integration is configured and use the Custom Till Extension Function as necessary with minimal setup
