      This article provides an overview and setup required for the Doshii Gift Card Prefix within the Till Extension Advanced Settings

      Prerequisites

      • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.2.8 
      • For an operator to be able to set up the Till Extension for Doshii Loyalty Integration, the following privileges must be enabled:
          • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
            • General Settings: "Use Backoffice"
            • System Setup: “Access Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
            • System Setup: “Maintain Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag

          About

          • In order to scan a  Doshii Gift Card on SmartPOS, there is a prefix that can be setup 
          • This will allow the card to be identified as a Doshii Gift Card     
          • This is not a required field as SmartPOS will fall back to input standard scan data from the barcode reader

          Till Extension - Configuration 


          • Prefix: The characters at the beginning of the card number that identifies it as a Doshii Gift Card 
            • Typically begins with a ";"  followed by numbers
            • In this example ;21 is being used as the card prefix
          • Strip Characters: The number of characters that should be removed from the overall card number to be used only as the prefix
            • In this example we are stripping 3 characters ie. ;21 will be removed
          • Use Chars: the number of characters that will be used as the card number 
            • In this example we are using 9 characters as the card number
