8 | Doshii Loyalty Integration - Till Extension Device Setup
This article covers the setup required to configure the Backoffice Till Extension device for the Doshii Loyalty Integration.
This article covers the setup required to configure the Backoffice Till Extension device for the Doshii Loyalty Integration.
This device will support retrieving Gift Card information from Doshii.
Prerequisites
- Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.2.8
- For an operator to be able to set up Doshii Loyalty Integration, the following privileges must be enabled:

Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab - General Settings: "Use Backoffice"
- System Setup: “Access Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
- System Setup: “Maintain Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
- System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag
- System Setup: "Maintain External Payments" flag
- Create an 'External Payment' for Doshii by following the
External Payments Configurations guide
Doshii Loyalty Till Extension Device Setup
- After logging into BackOffice, complete the following steps to create & configure a Doshii Loyalty Till Extension Device:
- Navigate to the System Setup component in the sidebar, expand, and select Venue, Stores & Tills to open the Venue & Till List Tab
- Highlight the desired Till and click on the Add New Device button in the header; when prompted select 'Blank Device' and a New Device and Interfaces Maintenance window will open
- Enter a relevant Device Name, set the Device Type to 'Till Extension', set the External DLL Name to 'Tillx_doshii_loyalty.Dll', and the Class Name to 'Till Xdoshii Loyalty'

- API URL: Enter the URL provided by Doshii
- Pos Vendor: Enter the POS system ID provided by Doshii
- LocationID: Enter the location ID provided by Doshii
- Client Key: Enter the Client Key provided by Doshii
- Venue: Select the Venue from the drop-down list
- External PaymentID: This will be the external payment that will be used for the payments made from Doshii
- Advanced Settings
- Prefix Settings - Further configuration details can be found
here - Prefix: The characters at the beginning of the card number that identifies it as a Doshii Voucher
- Strip Chars: The number of characters the user would like to remove as the prefix and not be included in the card number
- Use Chars: The number of characters the user would like to use as the card number
- Card Provider Settings - Further configuration details can be found
here - Name: Loyalty App Name
- Authorisation ID: Credentials provided by loyalty app
- Password: Credentials provided by loyalty app
- Click ‘OK’ to save the settings and this will exit from the Doshii Settings window
- Click 'OK' on the Device and Interface Maintenance window to save the Doshii Loyalty till Extension Device settings
