Email This section allows the Back-Panel user to set the email templates that will be sent to the customer when they sign up, place an order, reset their password, etc. You have the option to use customised templates or not.

Email

 

This section allows the Back-Panel user to set the email templates that will be sent to the customer when they sign up, place an order, reset their password, etc. You have the option to use customised templates or not. Customized template is done in Mailchimp and the “Use Mandrill” flag can be used to turn this customization on/off. 

 

From Address 

The email address to be used as the “sender” 
From Name  The name displayed as the “sender” 
** Subject  The subject of the email 
** Use Mandrill  When enabled will use customized emails from MailChimp 
** Template 

The MailChimp template name to be used. 

Please make sure the template names are the exactly the same as the name used in MailChimp, otherwise, no email will be sent 

Mandrill API Key  It’s the key that will integrate the Back-Panel to Mandrill account 

** The different email options are:  

 

Welcome  

Email sent to new members when they sign up 

Reset   Email sent to members for password reset 

Reset Success  

Password has been reset successful email 
Confirm   Email sent to request member’s email confirmation 
Email Change  Email to inform the email address was updated 
Order Receipt / Invoice  Email sent to the customer with the receipt and invoice 
Login Email  Email sent to the customer with their login credential(s) 
Ready for Collection   Merchant App Only: Email sent to the customer when their order is ready for collection/en route for Delivery 
Order Acceptance  Merchant App Only: Email sent to the customer when venue staff have started preparing their order 

 

Creating Templates in Mailchimp 

CREATING YOUR OWN TEMPLATES 

a. Log in to MailChimp < https://login.mailchimp.com > 

b. On the top menu, click on Templates. 

c. When creating the email template in MailChimp make sure to respect the merge tags requirements. This article explains how merge tags work, https://eepurl.com/dyikM5

*Not using the correct tags may cause problems, therefore we recommend using Bepoz templates.  

d. Once the template is finished, click on the arrow next to the Edit button (at the end of the template row).  

e. Select “Send to Mandrill” from the dropdown list. This step needs to be done every time a change is done in the template. 

 

USING BEPOZ TEMPLATES 

a. Log in to MailChimp < https://login.mailchimp.com > 

b. On the top menu, click on Templates. 

c. Open these URLs below on your browser. This will add the templates to your account. 

d. Customize the templates as desired. 

e. After setting up all the wanted templates, the next step is sending them to Mandrill. 

f. Click on the arrow next to the Edit button (at the end of the template row). 

g. Select “Send to Mandrill” from the dropdown list. This step needs to be done every time a change is done in the template.

NOTES: 

1. Do not edit this field in the emails as it populates name data from the form into the email. If you create your own template, you need to include the same field.

2. Do not edit this hyperlink in the Confirmation Email as it triggers a confirmation of their email address. If you create your own template, you need to include the same hyperlink code.
