How To: Find the IP Address

The printer must be plugged in and have a paper roll inserted to gather this information.

  1. Turn the printer on using the I | O switch.

  2. On the back of the printer, find the small Reset button.

  3. Using a paper clip, a pen, or a similar narrow object, press Reset and hold it down.

  4. Wait for the device to start printing, then release Reset.

  5. The status sheet will show the IP Address.

How To: Perform a factory reset

This will reset the printer back to it’s default IP Address and reset the username and password to the default.

How To: Change the IP Address

Changing the IP address is an exact science so be careful. Remember no two devices on the same network should have the same IP Address.
