20 | Feature Control

This section allows the Back-Panel user to control some features, such as member sign-up, orders creation, use of points or promotional coupons, and more by toggling it ON or OFF. These are the features: New Member Sign-up ON: Platform accepts online customer sign-ups OFF: Customers must sign up elsewhere if possible Allow Orders Allows orders to be made to BEPOZ. If off, no orders will be made Redeem Points to Pay Specifies if points can be redeemed at checkout.

This section allows the Back-Panel user to control some features, such as member sign-up, orders creation, use of points or promotional coupons, and more by toggling it ON or OFF. These are the features: 
 

 

New Member Sign-up
ON: Platform accepts online customer sign-ups
OFF: Customers must sign up elsewhere if possible
Allow Orders  Allows orders to be made to BEPOZ. If off, no orders will be made
Redeem Points to Pay Specifies if points can be redeemed at checkout. If enabled and user has sufficient points balance to make a purchase, the points section displays at checkout and points are earned where applicable. Otherwise feature is disabled. 
Use Coupons  Specifies whether coupons are available for display and usage 
Order Item Limit  It sets a hard limit for the maximum quantity for single item in order 
Guest Checkout 
 
ON: Customer can purchase without signing up first 
 
OFF: Sign up required prior to making a purchase 
Pickup for Kiosk 
ON: Enable pickup orders on the kiosk 
 
OFF: Kiosk used for dine-in only. Pickup orders are disabled at kiosk 
Trigger Mobile Verification  Customer can be verified as the owner of the mobile device. Mobile verification prompt may be set to display inclusive/exclusive: Member Sign Up/Profile, Guest SMS Opt-In, Cashier Payment only or verification disabled 
Self Service Modify Profile 
ON: User can customise their account preferences self service 
 
OFF: Only staff can customise user accounts 
Use Order Comment 
ON: Allow customers to add an order comment 
 
OFF: Prevent customers from adding order comment 
Use Email Confirmation 
ON: Automatically send email to confirm email address following registration 
 
OFF: Email confirmation is not required and feature disabled 
Cash Payment – Delivery  Enable customers to place Cash on Delivery (COD) orders 
Cash Payment – PickUp  Enable customers to place Cash on Arrival (COA) orders 
Cash Payment – DineIn 
 
Enable customers to place orders against a tab for Dine In 
 
Cash Payment – Kiosk   Enable Kiosk customers to complete payment at the counter 
Cash Payment – Guest  Enable customers who haven’t signed in to complete payment at the counter 
Member Checkout 
ON: Member can sign in and receive member related perks 
 
OFF: Customers can purchase directly without membership entitlement 
Enable Estimated Date and Time
ON: Number of minutes until order is ready displays to customers on the order success page, electronic receipt, order email and SMS for ‘ORDER NOW’ orders 
 
OFF: ‘ASAP’ text displays to customers on the order success page, electronic receipt, order email and SMS for ‘ORDER NOW’ orders 
Emergency Email 
ON: System will send emergency email to targeted address and displays new fields to set email addresses.  
 
OFF: No emails will be sent in emergencies and removes fields for email address setup 
Time to send Emergency SMS/Email (mins)  Enables users to set the time before when an emergency SMS/email will be sent. The default timer is 2 minutes. 
Send Order to Venue by Email (BCC) 
ON: Displays an Email field in order to Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) in the venue to the preferred email address for order emails sent to customers 
 
Show Currency Symbol 
ON: Displays the currency symbol next to all prices appearing in YourOrder.  
 
OFF: Hides the currency symbol so that prices show only the decimal number 
Google Analytics ID  Specifies the Google identifier for the venue account so that YourOrder activity data can be tracked in Google Analytics 
Facebook Pixel ID  Specifies the Facebook pixel identifier for the venue account to track YourOrder conversions and interactions in Facebook 

Starting from version 2.7.4:

 
Opt-in Mobile/Email                  When ON, allows users to opt-in to receiving marketing messages for the venue via email or their mobile number. 
This flag also sets  the Receive SMS and Receive Email flags to ON in Users settings. Linked accounts in Bepoz will also be updated to receive email and SMS.
