About

    • Flexinet is one of the many External Systems that Bepoz can integrate with via our native CALink application
      • We can integrate with both the Flexinet and Flexinet SP systems
    • While there are some differences between supported functionality of the different systems, features that are supported include the following:
      • Importing Account data with options the update and/or create matching Account records in the local database
      • Tiering (Account Group Creation)
      • Points Earn & Redeem
      • File-Based Account Imports (Flexinet only)
      • API-Based Account Imports (Flexinet SP only)
    • The Flexinet CALink Gaming Interface requires setup in BackOffice and configuration within the CALink application to communicate with the gaming system
    • The Export Flexinet Accounts Scheduled Job that allows to export Flexinet accounts into a datafile
    • The Import Flexinet Members Scheduled Job that allows to import Flexinet members from the sql database
    • Flexinet also supports a "Ticket-In, Ticket-Out" system where the gaming machines can print a special Ticket with a monetary value on it
      • This ticket is then redeemable at the Gaming Cashier or can be inserted into another gaming machine
      • While not directly related to the CALink setup and functionality, this has been added to this User Guide for comprehensiveness

    Prerequisites

    • For an operator to be able to setup this interface, the following privileges must be enabled 
      • Main Tab (General Settings) - Venue Maintenance
        • All "System Setup" Flags

      Key Features

      CALink Setup

      • The CALink setup must be completed in order to connect to the Flexinet Gaming System so that Operators can retrieve the account/customer details including points totals via SmartPOS
        • Points can then be earned and redeemed via SmartPOS when the Account is active in a transaction

      BackOffice Setup

      • Easily configure CALink #1 within Venue Maintenance by providing the details to connect to CALink which in turn connects to the Gaming System 
      • Create a Points Profile to determine the rate that Points will be redeemed at the Global-level per Product Sort or Type
      • Setup the Points Redeem Percentage within Store Maintenance
      • Within Till Maintenance, enable the CALink flag under the Till Flags section so that Operators can use this feature at SmartPOS
        • Also within Till Maintenance, set the Earned Points Profile and Default Redeem Profile (v4.7+)
      • A Scheduled Job that allows to export Flexinet accounts into a datafile
      • A Scheduled Job that allows to import Flexinet members from the sql database
