      7 | Flexinet Ticket-In, Ticket-Out Setup

      This article covers the Flexinet Ticket system which is a facility where the gaming machines can print a special Ticket with a monetary value in it. This ticket is then redeemable at the Gaming Cashier or can be inserted into another gaming machine (Bepoz Version 4.1.0.0).

      This article covers the Flexinet Ticket system which is a facility where the gaming machines can print a special Ticket with a monetary value in it. This ticket is then redeemable at the Gaming Cashier or can be inserted into another gaming machine (Bepoz Version 4.1.0.0).

      About

      • Flexinet has developed a special POS interface box that allows Bepoz to also redeem these tickets for goods purchased
      • Each Till needs to have its own POS Interface box connected to it via an RS232 cable. The till can then send a payment request to this box and if a Ticket is inserted with the required amount of credit, the till will finalise the transaction and the POS Interface box reprints a new ticket with the adjusted value
      • This uses the External Payment system within Bepoz. This requires that a name be setup in the Venue record and the payment system setup accordingly. Payments sent to the External Payment system will appear in the Till Balance, Till Summaries and Period Summaries reports

      Prerequisite

      • For an operator to be able to set up the Flexinet Ticket-In Ticket-Out feature-set, the following Operator privileges must be enabled:
        • On the 'General' Tab within the 'System Setup' section
          • 'Access Venue, Stores & Tills'
          • 'Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills'
          • 'Maintain Global Settings'
          • 'Maintain External Payments'

      Flexinet Setup

      • Create a "Flexinet" (or similar-named) External Payment into the External Payment System 
      • Create a new device for each Till that has a POS Interface connected to it
        • Set the Device as follows
          • Device Name: Flexinet TiTo
          • Device Type: External Payment link
          • SubType: Flexinet Ti To

      Communications Settings

      • BaudRate: 9600
      • Bits: 8
      • Stopbits: 1
      • Parity: EVEN 

      Device Options

      • Ext Payment # : The relevant Payment number that you put the name into in the Venue Record
      • Till Number: This is the ID to send as the Till identifier to Flexinet
      • This also needs the venue to have the Ext Payment Authorisation Option
      • Once this is all setup, the Till Payment screen will automatically add the Flexinet Payment button or you can add it to the main screen using the override maps
