This article covers an overview of the Gaming Journal Report in BackOffice. This report will show a brief history of transactions in the Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) attached to the system. The Gaming Journal allows operators to see the operators during the transactions and also the profit created.

This report will show a brief history of transactions in the Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) attached to the system.

The Gaming Journal allows operators to see the operators during the transactions and also the profit created.

Prerequisites 

  • For an Operator to be able to access and run Table Reports within BackOffice, the Allow Table Reports flag within the Reporting tab of  Operator Maintenance  must first be enabled
  • If this flag is not enabled, an Operator cannot access Table Reports


Accessing Gaming Journal

  • Complete the following steps to access Dispense Summary:
    1. Log in to BackOffice
    2. From the side menu, Select "Other Reports" to expand the list of Available Reports
    3. Select Gaming Journal which will open a new EGM Gaming Journal Window


  • The Gaming journal will show the records when the system is connected to a gaming system 
  • This type of report is more useful for arcade gaming centers

Reporting Options

  • Venue: Sets the venue for which the report is generated
  • Display Period: Sets the time period for which report will be generated
    • The time can be selected either by choosing specific Period, Time or a shift

Report View Options

'_Standard View'

  • This is a standard view type for the report
  • This type of view contains all the information about the Gaming Journal Report such as EGM Name & Number, Transaction Type, Operator, Date Time, Amount and SoftMeter
  • Operators can also create Custom Views by clicking on the 'View' button located in the Reporting Options
