This article showcases the interface to IGT Casino through CALink and discusses the setup and configuration options involved. Background IGT uses a standard TCPIP Link to communicate Points Balances, Redeems, and Accruals Operators need various information from IGT for each Installation and to set up the relevant fields in CALink The CALink Server Type called "IGT Casino" grants access to the IGT Casino Management System.

Background

• IGT uses a standard TCPIP Link to communicate Points Balances, Redeems, and Accruals
• Operators need various information from IGT for each Installation and to set up the relevant fields in CALink
• The CALink Server Type called "IGT Casino" grants access to the IGT Casino Management System. This Casino Management System includes a Comp Wallet and Points Bank per patron/member and also offers Comps to members in the form of Vouchers and Offers
• Prior to Version 4.6.0, Bepoz integrated with IGT Advantage through CALink via the "IGT" Server Type
• IGT Advantage is IGT's Club Management System
  
• This CALink enhancement grants access to the IGT Casino Management System via a new CALink Server Type called "IGT Casino"
• This Casino Management System includes a Comp Wallet and Points Bank per patron/member and also offers Comps to members in the form of Vouchers and Offers
• For all requests sent to IGT Casino - if the PatronID input is nine (9) digits or less, the request is processed as a PatronID lookup; however, if the input is ten (10) to twenty (20) digits, the request is processed as a CardID lookup 
  
• This article goes through the CALink configuration options when using the "IGT Casino" Server Type

Prerequisites

• The System must be authorized for CALink and must be upgraded to at least Version 4.6.0
• The Operator must have privileges enabled to access Venue Maintenance and to edit CALink settings

CALink Configurations

1. After running CALink.exe to open the CALink program, navigate to System and select Settings
2. From the Server Type drop-down, select IGT Casino; the remaining configuration options will change dynamically after Server Type selection
3. The URL connect string should contain the Host IP address and Port as a combination; e.g., http://127.0.0.1:8090
• Enter the URL and Till Connection TCP Port
4. Configure the Percent Change and Point Dollar Multipliers as desired
5. The SiteID & UserLogin will be provided by IGT for each Venue; enter the provided information into the appropriate fields
6. After configuration is complete, click OK to save the CALink setup
