      About

          • This interface supports importing Product Pricebook and Promotions Files from ILG
          • ILG Pricebook Import begins with creating and configuring a  Scheduled Job  which will Import the Monthly  Pricebook  file from ILG
            • When imported, this will create and update links to Bepoz Products in the local Database using the SupplierItem table by linking the 'GTIN' from the Pricebook file with the 'Barcode_1' of Database Products
          • Similar to the ILG Pricebook Import, the ILG Promotions File Import begins with creating and configuring a Scheduled Job which will Import the current Promotions file from ILG
            • After being Imported, the Promotions will be created in Bepoz and can be located in the Product Promotions component of BackOffice with Start & End Dates and Promotional Pricing obtained during the Import
            • When Promotions are Active in accordance with the Imported Schedule, Promotional Pricing will be in effect at SmartPOS Workstations nominated in the Promotion (NB: Promotions' Venue, Stores, and Tills can be filtered after Import if needed)

          Prerequisites

          • Minimum Bepoz version of 4.6 is required for this functionality
          • To access Product Pricebook and Promotion Import features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
            • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
              • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag 
              • System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag 
              • System Setup: "Maintain Scheduled Jobs" Flag 

          Key Features

          BackOffice Setup

          • Similar to other Importing Jobs, file/s will need to be imported & read so that Products can be matched for the Supplier and then be imported 
          • Two (2) separate Scheduled Jobs will need to be added and configured - 1 for importing Pricebook files ('ILG Pricebook File')and 1 for importing Promotions files ('ILG Promotions File')
            • These are both simple to add and configure with credentials supplied by ILG to connect to their remote FTP directory
            • It is recommended to check for the Monthly Pricebook daily so scheduling the Job to run every day at a specific time or at Startup is suggested
            • As an alternative to configuring a Schedule for the Promotions File Job, it can be chained to the Pricebook Import Job and will then automatically run immediately after that Job has ended

          BackOffice Functionality

          • To view the Imported Pricebook data in BackOffice after the Job has run successfully, navigate to the Stock Control module and select Supplier Price Book which will open the Supplier PriceBook Tab
            • Information Imported, matched, and contained in the Pricebook will include the Product Long Name, Item Volume, CaseQty, CostEachEx, and Barcode
          • Once the Promotions File Job has run and Promotions have been Imported, they can be viewed and optionally edited in BackOffice by navigating to the Marketing & Promotions module and selecting  Product Promotions  which will open the Product Promotions Tab
            • The Promotion Name of each Imported Promotion will be derived from raw data in the Import file; this can be changed to a more suitable Promotion Name if desired
