3 | Impact Data TalkBox SmartPOS Voucher Redemption

The interface with Impact Data allows customers to redeem TalkBox Promotions and Vouchers. This article demonstrates how to redeem TalkBox Vouchers from SmartPOS.

The interface with Impact Data allows customers to redeem TalkBox Promotions and Vouchers. This article demonstrates how to redeem TalkBox Vouchers from SmartPOS.

Prerequisites 

  • It's recommended to read the  Impact Data TalkBox Vouchers Interface Setup article prior to this one as it explains the BackOffice and TalkBox setups

Redeeming TalkBox Vouchers 

  • TalkBox Vouchers are created and sent to Customers as QR Codes 
  • The redeemable QR Codes are sent directly to Customers through many platforms such as e-mail, SMS, social media and other external mobile applications 
  • Below is an example of an e-mail voucher which can be presented and redeemed at the set Venue


  • Redeeming the TalkBox Vouchers can be done directly at the Till and involves a three (3) step process:
    1. Scan - The TalkBox Voucher that the customer has received will need to be presented and scanned using an attached scanner; the system will then validate the Voucher on both Impact Data and BackOffice databases 
    2. Display - Voucher information is then displayed such as the name, description, validity state and other relevant data 
    3. Redeem - Customers can then Redeem the Voucher

  • If no Voucher can be matched in Bepoz, a message to the Operator will display saying "There is no matching voucher. This Voucher cannot be used"
