This article covers an introduction to the "Operators" Maintenance Menu in BackOffice. Operators are the users that will be accessing Bepoz and will carry out the functionality and business day-to-day Operators. The Operator List is structured through a tree-like setup with numerous groupings for stemming into other groups to keep likes with likes.

Operators are the users that will be accessing Bepoz and will carry out the functionality and business day-to-day Operators. 

The Operator List is structured through a tree-like setup with numerous groupings for stemming into other groups to keep likes with likes.

Prerequisites

  • To access the "Operators" Maintenance Menu, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
    •  Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
      • Operators: "View Operators" Flag

 Operators

  • Operators are users that need to log in and use the System (both BackOffice and SmartPOS) 
  •  Operators that are created can be maintained in one of two ways: 
    • Individual: Specific authorizations for individual users for completing transactions and system operations
    • Group: Settings for each user determined by their role can be set up at a group level   
      • Operators that are created through group settings and role levels reduces the time to configure and maintain multiple Operators
